I have been obsessed with animals my whole life and tend to prefer them to people (Paws for Effect’s human clients being the exception to that rule, of course)!

Having tried my hand at a number of animal-related jobs including veterinary nursing, wildlife rescue, and zookeeping, I decided to pursue grooming as a career and gained my qualification from Basingstoke College of Technology in 2022. I have been grooming ever since and was lucky enough to be given the opportunity to take over the salon at Harepath Farm, near Burbage, at the start of 2024.

I share my life with a dog, Whiskey, a labrador / German shepherd cross; three cats, Mouse, Merlin and Evie; and a royal python, Diego. I also have a husband.
